CYCLING
Cycling Cappadocia Delight
The Cappadocia Delight bikepacking route is a 249-mile (400-kilometer) ride that usually takes about 7 days. It mixes gravel roads and singletrack with a total elevation gain of about 20,148 feet (6,141 meters).
The landscape in Cappadocia is unreal—fairy chimneys, rock formations, and breathtaking views. It's a tough route, so it's perfect if you're looking for a solid challenge.
Along the way, you'll pass through spots like Ihlara Canyon, a gorgeous and historic gorge.
The terrain's super varied, from volcanic steppes to gravel trails, and you'll ride through small villages where the locals are friendly and often offer a cup of Turkish chai. Even though some villages are a bit basic, the warm welcome makes it all worth it.
Since parts of the route are pretty remote, make sure you plan for food and water stops. You’ll probably camp under the stars or stay in small guesthouses. Definitely bring a GPS or map to keep you on track.
If you're after a mix of adventure and stunning scenery, the Cappadocia Delight is totally worth the ride!

DIVING
Diving Leru Cut
Diving Leru Cut is a surreal and otherworldly experience, often described as one of the most unique dive sites in the Solomon Islands.
Located in the Russell Islands, this geological wonder is a long, narrow crevice that slices through the limestone island, creating an underwater passage where divers can swim between towering rock walls.
Sunlight filters down from the surface, creating a mesmerizing glow as divers glide through the 330-foot-long (100-meter) passage.
The dive typically begins by entering the cut at a depth of around 15 to 30 feet (5 to 10 meters). As you move through the passage, the light show above shifts with the angle of the sun, creating a dramatic effect that makes you feel like you’re inside a cathedral.
At the far end of the cut, there's an opportunity to surface inside a hidden jungle cavern, where vines dangle from the ceiling, and the air is thick with humidity and the scent of the rainforest—an incredible contrast to the cool, clear waters below.
If Leru Cut is your type of adventure, join our Solomon Islands Kayak & Dive expedition for a chance to explore this stunning site—plus many more.

STAYS
Jamtara Wilderness Camp

Photo: Jamtara Wilderness Camp
Staying at Jamtara Wilderness Camp is like pressing pause on the outside world and stepping straight into the wild. Found near Pench National Park, it’s small—just ten tents—so it feels personal and peaceful, with nothing but jungle sounds around you.
The tents are roomy and stylish but still keep that “out in nature” vibe, with big mesh windows letting in the breeze and the occasional distant call of a tiger.
Days start early with coffee and a jeep safari, scanning the trees for leopards, tigers, or even just a perfectly camouflaged owl. The guides know their stuff, pointing out things you’d never catch on your own.
And if you’re up for a real adventure, try the Machaan—a raised outdoor bed where you can sleep under the stars, just you and the sounds of the night.
Evenings are all about good food, fireside stories, and slowing down. The meals are top-notch, but the best part? No rush, no distractions—just the jungle, the stars, and that feeling of being completely off the grid.
