This week’s issue is sponsored by 1440. Facts without motives in 1 daily news briefing.
Hey Explorer,
This is Adventure Fix, the newsletter that helps you discover extraordinary journeys and experiences across the globe.
Here’s what we've got for you today:

Wildlife Encounters: Fishing Cat Expedition
Natural Wonders: Dinosaur Footprints of Torotoro National Park
HIKING
Hiking the Manaslu Circuit
Nepal is great, but some of the popular hikes are way too crowded for our taste. Manaslu however is different. It’s one of the best options for those who are looking to avoid the crowds of Annapurna Circuit or the EBC Trek.
The Manaslu Circuit Trek has everything you'd want from a classic trek in Nepal, epic scenery, authentic moments with local people, and a 17,000-foot (5,100 m) Himalayan pass crossing.
The trek is wild and remote, yet there are teahouses at every stage, so trekkers don’t need to bring tents and food, making it more accessible and affordable than similar treks.

WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS
Fishing Cat Expedition

If you’ve already ticked off lions, tigers, pumas, and leopards from your wildlife bucket list, here’s a unique feline to add to your collection: the Baghrol, also known as the Fishing Cat.
This remarkable wildcat has evolved as a wetland specialist and has several adaptations that allow it to thrive in aquatic environments. With partially webbed feet, a dense fur coat that keeps it warm and dry, and an impressive ability to hunt in water, the Fishing Cat is a true marvel of nature.
Unlike most felines, Fishing Cats are adept swimmers and can even dive underwater to catch their prey. While fish is their primary diet, as their name suggests, these versatile hunters also prey on a variety of other species, including snakes, crabs, birds, and small mammals.
West Bengal, with its rivers, floodplains, and mangroves, serves as a stronghold for the Fishing Cat, making it a prime destination for wildlife enthusiasts who want to see this aquatic feline in the wild.
This expedition can easily be combined with spotting another elusive creature: the Red Panda.

Here’s a must-visit destination for all dinosaur enthusiasts: Toro Toro National Park in Bolivia.
This extraordinary park is renowned for its breathtaking limestone formations, dramatic canyons, and, most notably, its remarkable collection of well-preserved dinosaur footprints, which date back millions of years.
One of the most accessible paleontological sites in the park is Siete Vueltas, where visitors can marvel at a series of fossilized tracks etched into the rock.
These footprints, belonging to a variety of species, include those of massive herbivorous sauropods and formidable carnivorous theropods, offering a fascinating glimpse into a prehistoric world.
