How does paddling over vibrant reefs while being surrounded by surreal tropical landscapes sound? If that's your kind of paradise, head to Misool in Raja Ampat.

Without a doubt, kayaking is the best way to explore this archipelago. No outboard motor noise or fumes from engines, just you, your boat, and wild nature.

Camp on remote white sand beaches, playfully paddle through karst labyrinths and explore deep fjords jungles filled with wildlife.

Watch this: Kayaking Misool Raja Ampat: to see why the trek out to this remote corner of Indonesia is worth the effort.

HIKING

Summiting the roof of the Americas

At 22,840 feet, Aconcagua is the highest mountain outside of the Himalayas. Unlike other giant peaks like Everest, Denali, or K2, climbing Aconcagua doesn't require any mountaineering experience. Because the summit can be reached by trekking alone, it's often referred to as a gentle giant. While technical skills aren't required for the ascent of Aconcagua, you'll need plenty of endurance, stamina, and strength to reach the top.

If you can push through strong chilly wind and head-pounding altitude, you'll be rewarded with a sweeping view of the Andes mountain range looking out across Chile.

This peak is the perfect challenge for experienced trekkers who'd like to get a taste of high-altitude expedition mountaineering while pushing their physical and mental limits to the edge.

White Shark Whisperer: Turning fear into fascination

Photo: South Australia

Meet Rodney Fox, the White Shark Whisperer who has dedicated 50 years of his life to shark conservation after being dragged to the ocean floor by a Great White in 1963.

After surviving one of the most severe attacks, Rodney needed to decide for himself if they were "man-eating monsters". So, in 1964 he got back into the water behind the safety of the impenetrable steel bars of the world's first shark cage which he designed and built himself.

Watch this: White Shark Whisperer, to see how Rodney turned fear into fascination and created the world's first Great White underwater observation cage, and started Rodney Fox expeditions.
