What makes Sant Josep Caves particularly captivating is the underground river that runs through them, the longest navigable underground river in Europe.
Visitors can set off on boat tours that glide along the serene, crystal-clear waters, unveiling the hidden wonders of the caverns.
The boat journey takes you through a surreal landscape of stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years, creating otherworldly shapes and formations.
As you get deeper into the caves, vast chambers open up that are full of intricate calcite formations, shimmering cascades, and natural sculptures that evoke a sense of wonder and awe.
The play of light and shadows in the caves adds to the experience, enhancing the dramatic beauty of the geological formations.
